Privet! I’m a Moscow - based steadicam / camera operator and documentary cinematographer with own kit and transport. I shoot documentaries and branded docs as a DP and operate steadicam and camera for narratives, music videos and commercials. I started as a writer and photographer for a local newspaper in a Moscow suburb when I was 16. Later on I worked as a freelance photographer on international commissions for The New Yorker, Harpers, The Rolling Stone, TIME, The New York Times Magazine, GQ and others. I decided to take up film in 2010 when I was based in Kabul and for a few years I shot and produced documentaries across Central Asia and the Middle East. In 2015, I joined the HBO show Vice News Tonight as a full time DP and producer. I’ve been back to freelancing since January 2019 and so far have been working across narrative features and series, television and feature documentaries, corporate and advertising commissions in Russia and the post-Soviet space.
